Violence scene in video games must be censored

Technologies in this area grow up to fast. Video games one of them. Video games are popular among all people. But if it do continuously, it is too bad for some children. For some parents, giving children video games is their way of keeping their children obedient and silent. Whereas, it has a negative impact of violence scene in video games must be censored.

First, it can be the children imitate who they look. The children think if they can be them, they feel like a hero. At first they were just doing it for their own ‘just for fun’. Even though it could have an impact on the future. If the habit is carried out continuously, later on it will become a trait in adolescence or adulthood.

Second, video games can be poor academic performance. Children who continually fail are refusing to do school work, come late from gaming into the night, or don’t come to school at all, preferring to stay at home in their virtual worlds where they don’t fail playing video games. Children who tell their parents they don’t want to go to school is a sign of pending trouble, and all efforts should be made to support the student at school with provision of ‘bar just right’ work, and prohibit gaming if child stays at home (lock all devices up in car trunks or filing cabinets, create passwords for all computers).

Third, video games can children have a mental illness. Video games are highly immersive and are persuasively and immorally designed by psychologists for the sole purpose of making users addicted. Use of intermittent rewards is common and team aspect of gaming both contribute to long periods of continuous play. Anxiety and depression are consistent with gaming, and suicide risk and attempts when gaming becomes addictive.

From this text, we can conclude if there are negative for children used video games. The impact is the children must be curious about it. Especially now we can get anything what we want to see on the internet. So it makes them easier to get it. And we as adults, especially parents, must give them understanding and right words to explain to them. We know kids are curious about anything. So we shouldn’t give them bad or wrong explanation.
